Rockies. There's something majestic about Colorado and that entire area.

Probably living near or even on this peak would be my favorite.
I’d have to pace myself until I got acclimated to the extreme elevation.

I've been to the Rockies. Camped out on them in Colorado Springs. I could live near the rockies.

Smokies. I love that area in Tennessee.

A cabinet on a few acres of land in Colorado with a small stream running through it would be my dream.

Yes, that’s just the Rockies I grew up going to with my family. It’s no longer the wonderful place it used to be where I have so many memories.
Actually its pretty wonderful. Much more wonderful than Louisiana

I live in Fort Collins and its by far the best city I've ever lived in. And there is alot of Trump support up north and Wyoming

The scenery I'd agree with. The politics are pretty whack though. I mean, you don't have to deal with that shite in Idaho or Utah. It's not mutually exclusive that I have to live under socialism to have a nice backdrop in my backyard

Anyone who has ever lived near either knows this isn’t a debate

You sir, are correct! We just got back from a trip to the Smokies and the heat was giving Louisiana a run for its money. It was in the 90’s every day we were there and the heat index was into the 100’s.
We just got back a couple days ago ourselves. You are right...it was very hot! Dollywood was miserable!

Rockies, they are awe inspiring. smokies are foot heals. I lived in TN and recently traveled the SW, smokies are fun, but the mountains in the SW will make you feel small.

Family spent a lot of time in the Rockies so the sentimental hook is there, but if I have to live somewhere forever I'm choosing the Smokies.
Why?

For beauty, the Rockies by far. That area is amazingly beautiful. Smokies are nice and has awesome areas, just not as breathtaking overall.
For culture and people, the Smokies. More down to Earth people, more my kind of people.
Probably choose the Rockies if I had to. Just too pretty out there and you get nice snows. I might get tired of the snow pretty quick though...

The Smokies and Ozarks have a lot of very twisty roads running through them and they require a rider to pay close attention since straightaways are few and far between.
Try driving up Pikes Peak.
