I hate when people at LSU say we have more hot women. That's true, but it aint like you or me are gonna get with any of them. FACT: People from my high school who wouldn't get any play from a girl at LSU, have been killing it in Emory. And small schools have intramurals, greek life, clubs, and better teachers too.

And believe it or not, its easier to get laid in small colleges. less competition. Easier to meet people too.
Beta's think "More men = more competition"
Alpha's thing "More women = more opportunities"
You Beta bruh.

And you admit to being beta. I'm sorry you have no confidence.

OK.
I don't really give a frick because I graduated years ago and don't regret going to LSU at all. Sorry it sucks for you.

I go to LSU now, but after looking at my friends on facebook, maybe I should've gone somewhere else. LSU has a good biology program though. Tulane seems like a lot of fun, way too expensive though. And their football team sucks.

I have gone to both. Did my undergrad at LSU and loved it, party scene was great, football, etc. Went to grad school at Mississippi College and it was great as far as school goes but other than that it sucked. Maybe if I was at Tulane or a school in a big city maybe different.
I would take state school over private just because of the $$$. There are very few areas where the "better" education of the private school is real.
ETA: I didn't major in english so frick off grammar police

No, an Alpha takes advantage of his opportunities. At a smaller school, I got more room to grow!

I prefer a large state school since i'm a big football fan. However, the two things that matter to me most about college is how much does it cost to attend and what kind of jobs can i get once i've graduated.

Who do you think is banging them?

Yeah. USC has a decent football program, or had one. I was considering electrical engineering, and LSU has a way better program then most.

You have no clue what you are talking about. Alpha's get the best. You said the best at big schools like LSU was better than at smaller schools.
I'd rather have more options/competition than less options/competition everyday. Its a better system anyway where you can find matches with a larger base.

Small private for anything grad and post grad

No-one will give a frick who you are at any of these schools more than an LSU
If you want to swing big dick on a campus, go to Southeastern of ULL

Has anyone gone to both? Whats the party scene like?
I went to Syracuse for undergrad (private school in NY, about 12,000 people) and now I'm at LSU for grad school. I liked going to a small school cause I was able to do meet people faster through classes, my major, research, band, fraternity, etc. Also, cuse ranks top 10 for partying since it snows all winter and there's not much else to do.
Now that I'm in grad school, I don't really care as much about partying so can't really compare bars or parties to up there. LSU as you said has better sports and tailgating, but I'm finding it tougher to meet new people since I'm doing research all day. Most of the grad students I know tend to only see people in their own division (physics, math, engineering) instead of meeting everyone through events like in undergrad. Whether this is because of private vs public school or I'm just busier with life I'm not sure.

I went to the big state school, but with my personality I probably would have been better off going to a small private.
