Mazda BT50 mid sized pickup truck:
Unfortunately it's only for the Asian markets - North America will not be getting the Mazda pickup. The inside looks really good though - easily nicer than any other mid sized pickup on the market, with the materials and layout that seems to be borrowed from Mazda's new crossover SUV lineup.
It's actually a 2021 Chevrolet/Holden Colorado underneath the sheet metal, which features a more rugged exterior and plain interior:

Previous versions of the Mazda pickup shared a lot of Ford Ranger parts. They've switched to using the Chevrolet Colorado chassis for the 2021 model year.

No, it’s still a re-badged Ranger. It’s ugly and overpriced.

Negative - it's based on the Colorado/D-Max chassis. You are right that Mazda doesn't have their own truck chassis though.
I sort of wish Honda would ditch the Ridgeline and partner up with one of the American companies or perhaps VW to make a pickup truck.

I was joking BTW - people are wildly picky about stying for vehicles that are supposed to be very utilitarian. That truck looks pretty badass, although the Rivian is my favorite EV truck currently.
