I heard on local radio this morning that Wal-Mart is piloting a program in California where not only do they deliver your groceries, they come in the house and put them in your fridge/freezer/pantry.

I was telling some old timer this yesterday and I was promptly reminded that this was pretty much the way things were done over 100 years ago anyway.

That is not the only issue. My problem my dog. She loves to get the boxes off the outside table. Also the wind will blow lighter boxes across the yard. Large country yard.

I put in large outdoor pool storage box as a parcel box.

If I left a key in the box (attached to the car) you'd be able to access the car without opening the box.

Do most newer cars still have actual keys? My car doesn't have a keyhole on the door or the trunk.

Call me crazy, but convenience can only go so far; no way someone I don't know is coming in my house when no one is home.

Times are changing. They used to tell us not to get in cars with a stranger. Now we search the internet for that exact reason.
