I think that would be more to it than just making it legal. For instance would it be confined to a certain area like a red light district? Would the woman have to register and submit to testing for std’s?

I doubt it would make any difference. I doubt guys that are willing to straight up pay (you pay for it one way or another) really give a shite about whether it is legal or not. And there is already and endless supply of women that do it, at least in any major city.

I suppose it depends on what ethnicities and age group of females are trafficked the most.

There should be government sponsored hookers available for free.
Can't afford a wife? Call up a government hooker for 15 minutes of fun.
Think about how much this would reduce crime and lower prison populations.
More people in the workforce, better economy.

Think about a world where a bunch of people who dont want or need prostitutes are forced by the government to pay for a group of people to have prostitutes they want but dont need.
A government run business which is funded through taxes sounds horrible.
