Because you were obviously not around in the 60's or earlier.

Little Rock, AR is horrible. Went for a wedding and couldn’t wait to leave.

Maybe Birmingham? I really don't even know why though.

We’re not a major city.

Birmingham is actually a good visit though. There are high crime areas in every city, but I could give you a four day trip to the Ham that would be very worth your while.

About to go to San Antonio. What is horrible? Boring or unsafe?

My worst would be a city like Dallas that is just a concrete jungle. It’s safe, but it’s completely boring.

That's my pick. I stayed there one night on the way to OKC, and OKC was a real breath of fresh air compared to Dallas. It's just riddled with social climbers and Philistines.

Good lord, alot of ya'll sound miserable. Can't have a good time in Los Angeles? WTF? I can find fun in any city. I guess I just like to travel and experience new places, sights, and sounds. Sure glad I don't have to travel with some of you.

The gangs have taken over Baton Rouge. When the sun goes down, don’t go there without a gun.

Hartford, Connecticut. My dad and I went to see some of the old homes and cities that his side of the family were from. We were in one of the larger cemeteries downtown and heard gunshots and then a police chase. frick that town. Nothing was redeemable about that place but I was only there for a short time so maybe it’s not as bad as my experience.

Mark Twain's house is the only redeeming aspect of that city

why do people in this thread hate Philly so much? The people or something about the city itself? It's not my favorite place but I never had any strong negative feelings for it either.

My least favorite major city might be Washington DC. The monuments are nice but the actual city itself just didn't feel that great to me.

Its dirty.

I can have fun there, mainly because of the outdoors opportunity. But everytime I have been, its nasty. Can't even see the mountains for the smog.

Other than NOLA...

I hated Los Angeles. For such a huge city there’s really not much to do there. Traffic sucks, everything is ridiculously expensive, and the people suck.

I actually didn’t mind Seattle at all.

Jackson MS is, quite possibly, hell on earth. Two months there for work and I wanted to kill myself.
