Cheap tequilla, I don't remember the brand. It was like rubbing alcohol was pissed off at you.

For beer it would have to be Guinness hands down. Not even Olympia beer tasted so foul. I'd rather try to get drunk by licking a hobo's taint then drink that swill again. My Irish friends laugh their arses off that we actually drink that, though not as much as my Australians friends laugh at Foster's.

Oddly enough, while fairly ill tempered straight, Heaven Hills whiskey makes a perfectly good mixer. You don't buy it to drink, you buy it to drink with something else.

Beer:
Any malt liquor.
Milwaukee best.
Steel reserve.
Big flats (Walgreens brand beer)
Abita Mardi Gras bock.

And I tried a French beer once called Le Fin du Monde (the end of the world) and it tasted like liquified garbage from a dumpster.

Cordoba Beer. We should have had a clue that at the bargain price of $1 for a 6-pack that it was gonna be of the most sketchy quality.

But when you buy beer and Suda Suda Salvage on Jeffereson Why, ya take your chances.

I've got a bottle with the wormwood here at the house. Bought it at Spec's last time I was in Houston.

I did it all properly one time with the stem glass, the slotted spoon, the sugar cubes and the water dripper. I slammed it and it didn't do shite. I was expecting to see bugs and dragons crawling up the walls. Nothing.

You must not be a fan of craft beers. That's a damn good ale.

Yeah, that's total bs. If you want to see visuals, good lsd is the only way to go. To have visuals on mushrooms requires an absurdly large dose.

And specs midtown is a pretty damn cool store.

Le Fin du Monde is one of the best Belgian Tripels around. Drink more and better beer for about ten years then try Le Fin one more time - pretty sure you will love it. It's got a funky bannana aroma from the esters like all Belgian beers which is probably what you found revolting. Acquired taste though.

Worst beer period - tie between natty or bud light
Worst IPA - Trader Joe's (I should have known better)
Worst "wine" - MD 20/20
Worst liquor - SoCo
