this team has a decent assortment of attractive young ladies .. I am amazed they have kept Hope Solo's mouth shut for this whole tourney ..

Amazing what not having this event on ESPN does for its coverage. I barely even know it exists since ESPN hasn't been shoving it down our throats the last 3 weeks. And I am not hating on soccer or the event...I just notice that it hasn't gotten nearly the amount of attention it would have gotten.

Ratings have been great, but I wish ESPN had the event because their coverage is much better than FOX.

Sitting on the back deck watching a rain storm on the gulf now; that shite is 100 times better than watching the world cup.

But Fox reaches a LOT more homes than ESPN does .. so this has been really good for women's soccer .. ESPN has still had coverage during the event .. Fox1 has had some good shows as well .. overall, this thing has been covered very well ..

Most of the games have been on FS1, but the further into the tournament the big ones have been on FOX. Even group stage ratings were very good.

ETA: The coverage has been better than most soccer fans expected.

Wait til you have crumb crunchers with a soccer mom, a soccer assault vehicle (Yukon XL), and weekend tournaments.

You'll change... but enjoy the view for now

The interest is growing and there is no denying that. I'm not even going out to watch because almost every bar here is going to be packed.

I'm curious how finns is at the moment. About to head that way, and I'm expecting a madhouse.
