Worker dead after accident at Stupp Corporation in Baker

Worked there for about 3 years in the office. Tragic situation, lots of good people over there.

According to the coroner's office, the accident was reported just before 10 a.m. Thursday at the Stupp Corporation off LA 19. The coroner says a man was taken from the site with serious injuries and later died.
The victim has been identified as 30-year-old Stephen Diggs.
Details surrounding the accident are limited at this time. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday morning.

Worked there way back in 1979 to 1981. Saw a guy loose his arm from a big arse drill press that they used back then to prepare flat rail cars to ship out pipe. 
Also saw a first day guy get his leg crushed unloading steel coils. Even with safety first painted everywhere, that was a very dangers job.

It definitely is not safe environment. Sad day for people i still know out there.
