We adopted an emaciated American bulldog, that has some "pit" look to him.
This was years ago and we still have him, since we were uncomfortable about letting just anyone else adopt him ( we foster dogs).
From the first day we got him, he's been loving to us, but to be safe, we always keep him from our other dogs.
Do some consider American bulldogs in the same class as pitbulls?
