Yeah, what could go wrong?

An unstable person taking a micro-dose of a drug that will build a tolerance, which requires the user to increase the dosage in order to continue the effect

Nothing to see here

We have dedicated studies in the anesthesia world proving that microdosed infusions of Ketamine are curing depression in some cases and improving PTSD.

I just macrodose myself with my own imagination. Way safer, usually.

Always follow the money. We don't research it much for the same reason marijuana isn't legalized Federally. It cuts into profits.

most of the research is from Europe and Canada b/c it's very difficult to study here in the US

One article about one study from BC

quote:

A team from the University of British Columbia, Canada, say that psychedelic substances, such as LSD, psilocybin, which is found in magic mushrooms, dimethyltryptamine, more commonly known as DMT, mescaline and MDMA (ecstasy) have a powerful influence on a person's "conscious experience".

Dr Evan Wood, professor of medicine and Canada research chair from the University of British Columbia, and co-authors write in their paper published in CMAJ: "The re-emerging paradigm of psychedelic medicine may open clinical doors and therapeutic doors long closed."

There is also a Reddit thread related to micro dosing.

But seriously, these numnuts say "this helps this, its bullshite they arent legal and administered"

Meanwhile, the side effects of physcodelics are so damaging they should never be legal

The facts already exist that drugs like Ketamine, LSD, etc have huge effects on NMDA receptors which are excitatory in nature. It only makes sense that if well controlled dosings of drugs stimulated brain activity to centers deprived like in the cases of depression and stimulated in controlled fashions to help balance bipolar; then both drugs are viable for therapeutic effect.
