Not a huge fan of the IR aesthetic looks too much like clown shoes. Also a little less “dressy” than the 1000 milers.

Haven't tried the Vanguards.
Captains I went a half size down from athletic shoe and it fit great.

All of them can be. They are all Goodyear welted. Either 270 degree or 360 degree.
