Wish the police would arrest all these idiots who have fender benders on airline and refuse to move them out of the way

Minor accident. Why was firemens there? Tryin to be hero? Stop blockin traffic and carry yo arse and wait for a real emergency.

Because they were called to the scene, more than likely dispatched by police.

My fire dept sends a rescue truck in case person needs extrication, engine company in case vehicle catches on fire, and ambulance. We had a big falling out with police once about to many trucks and decided when police called saying all occupants were out we wouldn't send rescue.

It took one time for them saying all occupants out, we sent ambulance only since it was out of city and our fire trucks don't respond out in parish. Ambulance got on scene and there was a patient still trapped in vehicle. Ever since then we send rescue on all calls and they get turned away if first fire units say so. Yes, on wrecks fire dept has control of scene especially ours since we run ambulance. Traffic flying by one lane over can be said to be a danger to patient, not just us. Most police are cool but the troopers many times suck regarding blocking traffic or at least slowing it down.

Would love to be on the scene wben a cop there is in a wreck and needs help from a fireman.

I hope the cop is fired. If not all fireman should campaign against the sheriff in next election.

PI have met no one that dislikes fireman and plenty that hate the police. Cops doing things like this just adds to that number.

Fireman should have turned the hose on the cop to cool him off. Blast him down the road tumble weed style.

Doesn't that firefighter know that he isn't a "real" first responder and only cops have the right to inconvenience traffic in the name of safety?

Yeah, but poor people are brainwashed to wait in the car even if the wreck is minor and they are fine. Thanks to ambulance chasing lawyers and scam chiropractors.

Just had a great idea. Lets disarm the police. I see many benefits to this. Dogs would be much safer as well.

We park our trucks to block the scene for our own safety, cops usually appreciate it.. this one in particular can eat a bag of dicks and regret it when that firetruck isn't there to protect him one day

Most FF/Drivers use common sense when it comes to blocking a road way. Busy highway, interstate or time of day all play in to this. The rule is to block personnel on scene from traffic. Thankfully we get along with our police and deputy's and have never had a problem. They will usually set up before the scene with lights on to warn oncoming traffic.
