This is the OT.

Junk it and get a new vehicle.

Recently happened to me. If it's just a few small chips that didn't cause a crack, they won't fix it. Has to be a "star chip" with visible cracks to qualify for a repair.

I always recommend get it repaired. Depends on age of crack and amount of dirt in it or Rain X how much it will clear up. Repair is much cheaper and last thing you wanna do is pay for a replacement only to leave and have another rock hit it on the way home

Any idea how big of a crack can be fixed?

Just got a heat crack in mine (I live in Dallas). Replacement with Safelite is lower than my deductible ($500). I will wait until it starts to cool in September unless crack worsens.

They'll fix any size crack smaller than six inches. They just can't fix small chips.

Go to that windshield repair place in the parking lot of the All Star Lanes bowling alley. If you have comprehensive insurance, he will fix it for free if it is less than 6 inches.
