I know this is a long shot on this board, but anyone ever been or familiar?Going to Penn St vs Michigan in a couple of weeks and thinking of staying there.
Is there any nightlife?
Any other towns east of State College better to stay in?

ive been twice
pretty little town, lots of small pubs and good food. go by the little league museum
Bullfrog brewery and Francos Italian lounge are great.

Are you landing in Philadelphia. There is zero nightlife in Williamsport. If you want nightlife stay in State College.

As others said, if you stay in State College, you'll be able to enjoy the bars. And have a good time at the White Out.
