We all know that everyone on the Poli board will. This isnt about who you are voting for either so I feel it belongs on here in a sense to % of OTers that will fulfill there duty as an an american.

Yea, why not? Hate people who don't vote then complain how horrible our politicians and their policies are. You have a right to have a voice in the process, why not use it?

Nah, voting is for fairies (and non felons).

It's a closed primary, right?

Yes it is. So unless you've been registered in the party for six months (I think, might be longer), you can't vote.

Can you please spell "fairies" the cool way next time?
Posted on 3/4/16 at 7:51 am to Nado Jenkins83
Nope. And I don't complain about our elections. All politicians are terrible. I'm not choosing between the lesser of two evils.
If a good candidate were running, I would vote for him/her regardless of party affiliation.

Right... so no, I won't be voting. Not registered to any party but the one in my pants.

Sure...though I'd REALLY prefer a NONE OF THE ABOVE lever to pull. I'm getting kind of fricking tired having to vote for someone I don't like much at all simply to "do my duty."
I'd rather show up and declare I was interested in the process, but also show that the system we have is not producing candidates worth a damn. I don;t mean this as some joke or stunt, I honestly think it ought to be an option. Sort of like a congressman voting PRESENT.

voted once in the 18 years I've been eligible.....probably won't make it twice this weekend

I'm registered as a libertarian. Can I still vote in the republican primary?

So just don't vote then.

It's Trump vs. HRC, done deal. So voting in the La primaries does not matter at all.
If I get the time, I'll probably swing by and vote for Bernie for the hell of it.
