I doubt anyone buying a ridgeline would pay the $5,000 premium for the diesel. Plus, after all the epa bs, higher maintenance and fuel costs, you would be better off with the gas engine anyway. On that platform, you are not going to get any extra towing capacity, probably less bc of the extra weight of the diesel engine.
