Like AT&T stadium. Where are you going to stay? The Motel 6 across the street?

I stay at the Marriott and walk.

There are some hotels around there. I get the point, but you seem to be partaking and hyperbole.

I believe Jerruh Jones is the sole reason the Saints haven’t moved to San Antonio. Hard to say how long that will hold.

Well the main proponent of that move is no longer alive. Gayle does not give a frick about San Antonio.

Wut? NO has things that, say, Jacksonville can't offer?

seriously? New Orleans is widely considered one of the top 2 or 3 big event cities in the country. Hotels, bars, food, entertainment are all essentially connected to the stadium. There's 7,000 parking spots under the dome. It's downtown. It's easy to get in and out (relatively speaking) whether you're walking or driving.

Go look at the Jaguars' stadium on google maps and tell me how that could possibly be somewhere that could work for a modern day super bowl. There's a reason they've hosted one super bowl, ever.

The only other city that I've heard is as close to as good as New Orleans for these events is Indianapolis, for many of the same reasons. Vegas is Vegas but people conveniently leave out the mile walk to the stadium in the middle of the desert over the interstate. Genuinely shocking they haven't figured out a better system than that.

Yes. Did you read my post? The entertainment district, the restaurants. the hotels, the stadium, and the convention center, are all in one area. It’s a known fact this is why NO is a great place for the game. The only thing holding it back is the dome being old and not a fabulous new stadium.

Did you pay attention when the Saints played in the Super Bowl in Miami? It was terrible for people there. They had to travel miles from the hotel to the media area, then to the stadium, then to the entertainment district, etc. Lots of time in cars traveling, waiting in traffic, having to get taxis and shuttles, etc. In NO, it’s all right there.

It’s much more than one game. It’s a week of media events and fan events. The convention center is turned into a media center and a fan experience. You can stay next to the convention center and walk to the game and the quarter. This is a well established benefit of NO.

This question/thread seems to get brought up all the time, and it gets dumber every single time it's asked.

I’m the biggest NOLA homer there is. I think it’s one of the best cities in the world.

The reason I asked the question is because it’s an absolute shite show right now with the about of road construction and traffic signals not working. It is going to be an absolute cluster. I seriously think the NFL is going to say, never again.
