well the trial is a joke.

its more like a memorial for will smith than telling what happened that night.

which is all that really matters.

Racquel Smith: Will Smith loved New Orleans, the community. He was never worried about his safety. I always was. He never was.

quote:

Racquel Smith says she took her children away from Louisiana after their father was slain.

quote:

Racquel Smith, on moving her children: 'They miss their city.' This was their home.

quote:

A Cardell Hayes supporter loudly said, 'Jesus Christ' as Racquel Smith starts crying. Judge threatens to throw whoever said that out.

quote:

No one thrown out, though. Racquel continues describing how her children were told by relatives that 'Daddy went to heaven.' (more)

quote:

(cont'd) 'God needed daddy more.' Racquel Smith says it was heartbreaking.

Is this kangaroo court? Fun Bunch, does any of this shite seem relevant? And should the defense be allowed to attack Will Smith if the prosecution can just let his wife ramble about character?

Yea we did the calculations in a thread months ago.

For his size and weight, a .24 is a case of light beer in 5 hours.

I dont know how long he was drinking, but a .24 for a man his size is a shitload of drinks.

Someone loudly exclaimed "Jesus Christ" while Raquel was crying on the stand.

Judge asked that person to say it again so she could thrown them out.

Silence.

"Hernandez was talking loud and taking off his shirt and jumping up and down. I was concerned because they were both bigger than my husband"

"I was crying.I went over to Will to calm him down. These guys are bigger than my husband. I kept saying we have kids. We are not like this

"I focus on William. Mr. Hayes and William were yelling and cursing at each other."

Both guys [i.e. Will & Richard] got out of the car. I hear guys arguing with each other"

Richard in passenger seat with his wife behind him.I was in back seat.

I would love to know what Hernandez' BAC was too but more importantly look at the bolded testimony she gave because this doesn't help her cause either. It leads one to believe that Will & Hernandez were the agressors and she was trying/begging to calm Will down. Fuller is going to concentrate on her testimony because creates some real questions as to her viability as a witness and what she saw or didn't see.

To be honest, her testimony doesnt really help the prosecutions case that much.

I think it was Redsticktigress and she was great at arguing for pages and pages about shite that had already been settled by evidence. I forgot exactly what it was but she was going on and on speculating about something we already knew to be true/false. 10 posters would be linking her to the evidence and she wasn't having any of it.

Judge's almost always allow this sort of thing.

Hayes people will get to play on heartstrings as well.

And no Judge's almost NEVER allow prior crimes or charges against victims in. Unless it has direct relation to this particular incident.

Gotcha. What did you think of the statements by his wife? It honestly seemed to help the defense if anything. It def did not seem like a slam dunk for the prosecution

I think her testimony thus far has actually helped the defense because it sounds like Hernandez was one of the main aggressors in this fricked up situation which is probably what spurred on a drunk Will Smith into thinking he could solve this with aggression too.
