I was just asking. You're way too sensitive over anything I post.

To coast from 20-15mph?
I am going do it right now.
I am going do it right now.

Sunseri: "If Mr. Hayes had applied his brakes fully he should have been able to bring that vehicle to a stop."
Intent will be all but impossible to prove besides Hayes admitting it.
There are unintentional accidents every day where the person doesnt apply the brakes at all.
I believe that is the point FUller will drive home

That's why I am asking. Did the State parade him as a accident expert or a vehicle expert? I didn't see the original information from when the witness was called so I genuinely dont know.

How many of those accidents end in the party at fault killing the other party?

From a tweet:
If he is a reconstruction expert and testifying to the reconstruction of an accident without looking at the vehicles it kind of discredits his opinion to a point.
I only commented that I can see why the defense doesn't want top recognize him as an expert.

Michael Sunseri testifies next. He's a traffic crash reconstruction specialist. Started in 1979 with La. State Police.

Depends. An automatic large vehicle would take longer to coast than a small car with a manual trans. Momentum would maintain the speed better in the larger vehicle.

sure, but its all he can. you're chasing a guy and trying to get tag numbers yet you aren't watching ahead... it's just all non-provable stuff for the jurors to chew on.

I get that. My only question about these things is this; Why does the defense get to discredit a witness when its obvious that witness is going to make damning testimony to the defenses case? Seems like they shouldnt be allow to object that.

If there was a test based on his testimony for everyone in this courtroom everyone would fail. For me, I am relying on the curve.

This witness has clearly lost the attention of the jury. He is very dry.
Doesn't sound like the witness is impressing anyone.

Simply stating what I think Fuller will attack

defense didn't want to recognize him bc he's a state called expert with unknown information to the defense.

I understand that, but its hard to look at facts in vacuum in a case like this.
