Traffic used to be terrible in the afternoon around LSU before covid. The last two years, I didn’t have any traffic going through campus. It was sad seeing the campus empty like it was. I’m not going to lie and say I didn’t enjoy getting home quicker but I miss seeing LSU’s campus packed like it used to be pre covid.

Drove down Lee from Nicholson to Perkins today around 4:00, it seems like it’s back to normal

I know Oxford seems to be back in full blown Oxford form.

Busiest I've seen it in 3 years

I hope all universities get back to normal and let these kids enjoy their college years.

Just wait till you're stuck in traffic again.

It’ll never be the same without Kirby Smith.

OM had the largest freshman class ever .. they had to reopen Brown and there’s not enough housing for freshman.

Our last is a senior there .. I love oxford tbh but hate having to go on a game weekend.

Campus was very busy yesterday. The campus was packed with new students there for orientation activities. Traffic was heavy and it took about 15 minutes longer to get to my destination on campus.

I'm a ChemE student and yes it's back to normal. I'm glad because I hate this hybrid stuff.

I was on campus Friday and again yesterday.

The campus is back better than ever.

The amount of out of state license plates was shocking. From all the country.

Mostly from Texas

It's pretty crazy to think about where we were at this time last year.

Forcing students to get a vaccine that, within a year, has proven to be worthless(for their age group). Hybrid/remote learning. Requiring fans to get vaccines/covid tests to go to a football game.

Glad that things are getting back to normal now.

For the kids who got kicked out for not getting the vaccine, are they allowed to go back?

kids were not kicked out for not having the vaccine - any student was ‘kicked out’ if they didn’t provide their vaccination status - I think last fall it was 4 kids

Kids who did not have the vaccine were tested every four weeks

Yep. It was pretty much back to normal last spring, my oldest was never called in to test or anything
