Because it’s something we can’t control. Everyone says they have a solution but deep down they know they don’t. Mass shootings aren’t the problem, the shootings are a symptom of an underlying problem in our society.

I don’t have a solution but it is my belief that this is the result of a rotting, degenerate society that has no morals, no role models, no structure, no belief that we are united as a country.

We are told that it’s racist to have pride in who you are, what country you belong to. You are a bigot if you believe there are only males and female.

We are completely lost as a society it’s no surprise kids who are confused behave this way. America will die from a slow moral decay that results in us voting away our own rights.

It’s amazing to watch the destruction of the greatest nation to ever exist in real time

Why can’t we be like Australia?

You know the country that has a 1/15 of our population and had a dozen complete lockdowns for Covid

How can we know the answer to this when we haven’t even tried any of the proposed solutions?

Because one half of the population gets a hard on everytime a bunch of kids get killed because they think it’s an opportunity to satisfy their own vanity by pretending to care enough to “at least try” to do something.

Which proposed “solutions” should we try

Exactly. Anders Breivik killed 77 people in Norway, despite all the restrictions in the world. Dude literally started a frickin farm to get fertilizer to build bombs. Nothing is ever gonna stop a determined madman, and that’s an answer that society just can’t handle.

Because the presence or absence of a gun had no bearing on this kids mental state. It’s insane to think otherwise.

I was pretty excited when the tranny rumor was running around but now I just think it’s a regular ole run of the mill tragedy.

Nah, you’re right. Let’s think and pray some more and maybe god will save us!

Certainly had a bearing on what he was able to do in his mental state. It’s insane to think otherwise.

We can have a gun problem and a mental health problem, simultaneously. It doesn’t have to be one or the other.

This is a problem everywhere dude but chill for a second. This is still, by far, the best country on the world to live in.

I’ll go ahead a say it: we need a damn war to get involved in like WWII to remind us what’s important in life (not how you identify as he/she/they) and awake the collective spirit and unify the country.

It’s hilarious you think I’m a T&P type person

Still waiting for your bright ideas to curb this in the US

It would fade quickly like the unity the country had after 9/11. Not comparing the 2 events, but once it ended or faded in the news a little people would return to their silos.

One side wants to preserve individual rights.

The other side wants to limit them.

Spot on and well stated. And I don’t think any of that shite is happening by accident.
