I don’t remember them making posts like this during Biden’s term. Very interesting

Is 3.20 a record high or not?

For Easter? No idea.

What does your data say?

They were $8-9/dozen around here a month or two ago at non-Walmart/Costco places. They were about $4.50 last weekend when we bought some.

Everyone is so damn sensitive over eggs these days, MAGA and commies alike.

I’ll report back tomorrow what a dozen cage free from HEB costs me.

An 18 CT large Walmart egg is still $7.50 that's down a little from $9.00 but still too high. It's gonna take time to replenish the stock of laying hens.

Because they ran a AP story also covered by PBS, NYT, Rolling Stone and other places that averaged prices in March and report on April 10th.

They were higher in 2022-23, equal to early 2024

That’s not what WAFB claimed

What caused this price increase again, ft? You remember don’t you?

Not to defend the fake news, but the reporters at WAFB likely do not know how to read a chart.

As news organizations, it’s a little weird they’re reporting outdated and bad information that prices are at record highs when they’re historically on par with egg prices the last few years, isn’t it?

Last month oil was $80. I can provide you a trend of what oil was for the past 20 Easters.

I'm asking if eggs at +$3/dozen is considered cheap for Easter. Seems a simple answer for the OP do back up with data.

Not if they have an agenda.

Of all the things WAFB needs to cover in this city, I would think that egg prices is probably low on the radar in terms of importance to the quality of life of the people in the BR viewing area, especially since prices have gone back to normal already.

Walmart $7. 33 for 18 large. We're $8.92 two weeks ago.

Sam's 18 large are $6.22

In my head they should be $1.99/dozen and a XLT F150 should be $34k

Where the hell are you shopping that a dozen regular eggs are $8 for a dozen?
