Why is the Renaissance Hotel on Bluebonnet Blvd flying a Alabama flag?

They are flying the American flag, state flag of Louisiana, and the Alabama Crimson Tide flag. Is the hotel owner a bama fan or something? You would never see a LSU flag flying in Tuscaloosa.

I stayed there a couple weeks ago and some women's sports team was there. Didn’t notice what flags were flying though.

That makes sense. I did not know they were here and I always thought teams stayed at the Hilton downtown.

Maybe the Alabama gymnastics team is staying there? (Aren't they in a meet with LSU tonight?) Regardless, many opposing teams that play LSU stay there (in several sports). I don't recall seeing them fly their flags though.
Probably someone affiliated with the team or a friend/family member of the team raised the flag to F with LSU fans. Sounds like it worked

There was an SEC women’s golf tournament out at University Club last spring and all the teams stayed there. Every university’s flag was represented.

I've stayed there before, a lot of college teams stay there when they are in town and they let them fly their flags.
