Central has far different demographics and politics than BR. It's probably the darkest red area in EBRP and has pretty solid public schools. It's a decent area to raise a family by BR metro standards.

Bridge City, Lumberton Fannett are good places. I'm sitting in a deer stand as I type this 15 minutes from my house. I'm dead in the middle from lake sabine or east Galveston bay. Bought an hr from big lake

We spent a few days in Corpus Christi when our grandson graduated flight school and went back later when he got married.Looked to me that no one mowed their grass.Saw some pretty nice houses with yards that looked like they hadn’t been mowed in months.

Just having a conversation- I was just comparing the Beaumont area to the Baton Rouge area bc I’ve lived in both and they are very similar.
Then I teased him when he said he’d rather be in Baton Rouge and I said that’s bc he’s from BR
But he corrected me about ‘Central’ (which my siblings have lived there for years but we won’t go into that)
I did not mean any harm and was not trying to bust anyone’s balls. I only like to do that to you, Paul Allen.

I mean I get the comparison you’re trying to make....but Houston has its own shitholes filled with refineries...Pasadena, Galena Park, Deer Park, Baytown and Texas City say hello.
