Cops boycott, then BLM says that it's evidence that Black lives don't matter. Cops have to be there and hopefully someone who tries to protest gets arrested and resists in the process. Cops have to use force to stop them and protect their lives. That would totally ruin their narrative.

Police don't have to be anywhere. They are not in the Army. Matter of fact they are union members and most have a shite ton of sick time.
