why is popeyes so bad now?

When I was a kid my uncled lived in Metarie and when we visited we would always get popeyes. We would also get super popeyes. Food was awesome. I live in Georgia. Then we got some here food was good. Then not sure who owns them now but it is bad real bad. Like another guy said tough to beat the chicken but the service is just crazy bad here. I went the other night to get some and guy was like we have no chicken. I waited in a drive through for like 25 minutes get to the speaker and guys was like we have no chicken. We have tenders and that is it. I was like ok sorry I thought this was a chicken place and went down the street to the big chicken. I left saying I will never go back again. But sure enough couple weeks from now I will give it another try. Worst service ever at a place. End of my rant.

The people at the home office here found out the restaurants in Georgia weren't running things "the Popeye's way" and cracked down on them. So now you get the same service we get in Louisiana.

I wouldn't say it's bad, but it's definitely overrated.
