I don't think it's clearly settled that it is. What numbers do you have to offer?

43 national championships

10 super bowls and that’s counting Tampa and Miami which is being courteous at best.

Majority of the college grads from schools in LA not named LSU are still LSU fans. The LTU/ULL die hards are the minority. Southeastern might as well be LSU-Hammond. McNeese might as well be LSU-Lake Charles.

Unfortunately, very true.

He’s referencing their first Rose Bowl win. Bama was the first Southern football team to achieve prominence. Local folks were writing to the players telling them to whip the shite out of whoever they played (I think it was Washington), because the fathers or grandfathers of the Husky players ravaged the South in the Civil War. And let’s face it… the South has had a terrible reputation. It’s what’s prevented it from becoming like Austin, but those days are unfortunately numbered. The flood gates are opening and places like the beautiful Alabama beaches will soon resemble south Florida.

You are in your ragin Cajun bubble and don’t see it clearly.

Majority of the people grew up LSU fans and remained LSU fans in college therefore are LSU fans for life. Other schools don’t brainwash students to hate big bad LSU like ULL does.

We have to keep the reputation whatever people think it is to keep them out.

It’s awful. Everyone’s racist stupid fat and miserable. No one should ever move here. Nothing but the klan running things.

That's not measuring popularity.
