Why is bottled water so expensive in Alabama?

Was checking in on a property in Gulf Shores last week. Stopped at a small grocer somewhere in Foley on my way out and couldn’t believe a generic bottle of water was 1.49 plus tax. What a farce! And of course they didn’t have change for, nor did they accept 100s.

Paid 1 lira to a kid in Istanbul in 2015. At the time it was $0.33, I think I got hosed. That is $0.20 today. Yep, I got hosed.

You didnt have to sell the villa on Grand Cayman did you?
If you need a good property manager in Baldwin County I have an excellent fellow that manages all my rental units in Turquoise. I havent even seen them but I am told they are lovely by Gulf Coast standards

Lovely! I will have to check it out when I am down there in a couple weeks. Need to meet with my banker in the Caymans about some things I cant discuss over the phone.
