Gotta be careful on the crossfit women. I admire their effort, but 3/4 go overboard into boxy and masculine zone.

Yup. Some sure do. The thing is, the ones you see on TV have the diet or a 230 lb man and are all juicing. For the typical woman that consumes 1800-2000 calories and lifts 45 mins a day (hypothetically, I know this doesnt exist) they would all still be feminine but toned.

Many of my crossfit "friends" crossed the yuck line from strong yet feminine over to manly. Not all, but most.
I'm not sure why. My exercise program uses many of the same routines. Probably the fact that they do (with poor form) PR cleans and snatches of 200ish lbs? Whatever the case, I can attest to the strength sensai article. I am thinner and leaner now, doing HIIT and weights, than I was during my competitive swimming days. I enjoy cardio but it doesn't get the job done.
