Didn't someone on here say a while back that placing Tylenol in mice bait would only kill the pythons off?

That's the worst kind of deformation. You don't even see it coming.

You answered your own question it makes good tv. All reality shows are 100% fake, but some make good tv.

Well, if the goal is to try to save the Everglades, you don't care about fun as much

True, plenty of people would watch the smoke pythons by the hundreds. Like shooting nutria or wild hogs.

Wrestling seems like the dumb arse approach.

Stack them high and make boots.

If we're being told that these snakes are basically an existential threat to the everglades and it's native species (I believe we are), worrying about humanely killing these assholes or preserving their skin should not be the priority. I'm sure the alligators and other animals would clean up any that did not die right away.

If you wanna go old school and make money on the skins, fine, but just kill as many as possible

It would seem the old defending the trains from the bison approach would work. Especially when you could just tell all the Florida men to get drunk and have at it

I should've said in my original post that the show says that all snakes and eggs are handled in restricted accordance with Florida law.

So how are we gonna wipe out the snake population if we apply very inefficient methods to catch them

As far as environmental concerns, just pick up your shells and use steel shot. But we live in society where tampons are being handed out in boys bathrooms so common sense has left the discussion.

So you can ride around on air boats and shoot hogs and shoot and snag gators but can't shoot an invasive non native species like a python. Makes total sense.
