Why don't more people sell a kidney?

According to data compiled from the FBI, a kidney goes for about $262,000 on the black market in the US. You can live with 1 kidney and basically be perfectly fine. Obviously that's pocket change for your average OT poster but poor people should jump on this

When they open you up to take it, how can you be sure they don't take both and possibly more? You might wake up with no penis, no eyes, no kidneys, no liver, etc.
