Why doesn’t the information I enter using the keypad transfer over to the customer rep?

Punch in all your information into the automated system and then you have to verbally repeat it to Punjab before he can help you. Do companies not have the technology? Cheapskates?

AT&T will make you repeat it 4-5 times before they add any value toward resolving your issue. There are times when it almost feels like a prank call intentionally trying to get someone riled up.

That information goes straight to a hacker in Lithuania, bypassing the call center entirely.

The same reason every company requires you to type in a bunch of shite that's already on your resume

Exactly this. It's like the credit card skimmer on a gas pump.

I like to ask them this and they really don't ever have a good answer for it.

I just got off the phone with ATT Uverse to cancel service. I was passed off to about three different human beings after talking with the computer for a few minutes. Very frustrating!

I once tried to close a bank account over the phone with capital 1, everytime I told the operator what I wanted to do, they literally hung up on me. , happened no less than 3 times.

I ended up going in person to the bank to get it resolved.
