Why doesn't some smart Country drop an EMP, or two, on Syria

......if that is where the communications on these coordinated attacks are coming from. Doesn't matter how they are communicating, whatever it is will never work again. If Obama is so concerned about killing his Muslim brethren then leave them all standing with no electronics left working.

Because "dropping an EMP" is detonating a nuke in space, taking out untold satellites, and taking out power across a space wider than the country of Syria itself, even if the burst is relatively low altitude.

A large/small scale EMP drop has never actually happen. Now a "blackout" cruise missile is a completely different story. The US used a development type turn the Gulf War.
