This 60 yo granny works in our office. She drives a basic 6 cyl camaro but it has "ground effects" which we hear about weekly. She is a nasty, trashy, smoking lounge lizard redneck. She reeks of white trash so yeah Mustangs and Camaros especially the 6 bangers trashy as frick.

Definitely. The Camaro is firmly into sports car territory today. They are legit track cars.
Unfortunately their MSRP's are also climbing pretty rapidly with each generation - but that's to be expected given their vastly improved performance, suspension, handling, and decreasing weight.

It's unfortunate but Ford made a lot of slow, heavy, and cheaply built Mustangs in the 1990s and early 2000's.
It's unfortunate but it almost seems like young people today would rather buy a damn crossover than a performance car. Just no excuse for that now that the Mustang and Camaro are pretty legit sports cars now.

You get the point though. The trailer park isn't full of 2017 Shelby GT350s, but you'll see quite a few 4th and early 5th generation models scattered around.

Because the OT is full of hicks and pussy boys that like to hate on everything that anyone else has.
It's a sad existence most here live. Everything is trashy and everyone sucks.
Oh, and I don't own a mustang, but I would'nt hate anyone for driving one.
And to the idiot who said stereotypes, just today I saw an older lady with one, a younger lady with one and while I was eating at Jazzdaddy's, 2 older guys with mustangs.
The answer is the OT has too many hateful idiots.

You're right, but they're far less recognizable. For better or worse, the Mustangs stick out.
