We have one dog that eats grass like a cow and never pukes, he has done it since he was a puppy. Another occasionally eats grass and almost always pukes. Expecting the normal upset stomach answer I did ask the vet last year in passing. She said that ANECDOTALLY some of her dog owners had switched to higher fiber foods and reported good results. Just based on this we switched the Bassets food and the incidence of eating grass and puking has dropped to almost never. We are feeding her Iams Proactive Health Adult which is on the high end of the recommended crude fiber range. YMMV
