Sunny while I am at work on weekdays, rain on my leisure time. Why does god hate weekends?

I was just thinking about how excited I am to get some rain on a weekend I'm not working... You better believe I'm ordering a pizza and sleeping all day Saturday. Been working the last couple of Saturdays and it's hard to get out of bed when you got that nice rain sound hitting your window and it's cloudy and dark.

Because we put weekends on the wrong days.
We should inact Weekend Savings Time where every spring the Weekends jump forward two days.

It’s just this time of year where there is a weekly pattern of fronts still coming down meeting with the warm air in front of it causing big storms. Just so happens y’all are catching it on a weekend. Should be a lovely weekend here in Houston. We have been lucky the last couple of weeks to get the weather Friday night/very early Saturday.
