Jesus TapDancing Christ that sounds like a miserable way to start a marriage.

OP...clear this up for us please or else we are gonna question your level of intelligence.
As poorly worded as the original post is, his level of intelligence is not in question at all.

I said that she wanted the proposal to be in front of both parents.

Sounds like your son is marrying a self-absorbed, attention-whoring kunt. I can only imagine how the actual wedding is gonna go.

Be a better parent. Yes I have 3 kids, two of which are boys, both of which are married, none of which were in football season. #ididgood

Yeah, missing a football game just happens to be incidental to the rest of the drama.

They should have the get-together and the son doesn’t pop the question. I’d pay money to see THAT reaction from her.

We know someone who is getting married at 3pm the day of the LSU/Bama game. Being that the game is likely to start at 2:30pm on CBS this season, my wife already done told them I won’t be there because I have to “work” that weekend.
I’m almost tempted to go anyways just to watch the shite show when people start ignoring the wedding in the corner of the reception hall.

I scheduled mine for a bye week. Told the fiancé that we could have it in the fall, but it has to be a bye week.

Guess what. When you get married on any date during football season you will end up having wedding anniversaries on game nights. And she’ll be pissed when you tell her to schedule her celebration around the game. And then you don’t get anniversary sex.
