Would New Orleans residents here be in favor of, if it was possible, demolishing the Super Dome and building a brand new and modern Super Dome in the same spot?

That's a pretty broad question. Where would the saints play while they demolish and build a new stadium? Any other location would be a Huge mistake. Who would pay for it? What would the stadium offer that the Super Dome lacks besides electricity? To me the Super Dome is iconic and part of the city's skyline I would hate to see it go. I've been to multiple MLB, NFL and college stadiums and a new stadium just doesn't blow me away. The only thing I really like about the new stadiums is how they try to incorporate views of the city from inside the stadium.

Atlanta lost two NHL teams. What a bunch of losers.

Maybe I'm missing the joke, but what other team did they have besides the Thrashers?

Very bold and generalized statement regarding world history. Might wanna consider revision.

I meant sports history, I didn't know I needed to be so specific. Also, New Orleans survives off of tourism. The Super Dome and its location is a huge part of that. It's way more than just a place to watch football games. From The Rolling Stones largest concert at the the time to Muhammad Ali fights, the No Mas fight, Michael Jordan's shot to win a national championship, Hershel Walker winning a national championship, many Super Bowls, the Pope visiting, the repulican national convention, Pete Maravich and the Jazz. When it's no longer adequate to attract events like those then it will be replaced.

Y'all have torn down both stadiums that hosted it and it's more famous for a terrorist attack. You win.

I think it was mainly to move the spamming from braves and falcon fans to another forum. They would shite all over the MSB board.

Atlanta is like the gay little brother who has all the jewelry. NO is like the older alpha brother who spits tobacco in Atlanta’s face every chance he gets. Atlanta has a butthole for a stadium. NO stadium is older but more alpha.

Nah, N.O. is the alcoholic older brother who actually accomplished something 40 years ago and has been long surpassed by the rest of his family (Atlanta,Houston,Dallas,Nashville,Jacksonville )BTW Mercedes North America just opened its corporate HQ in Metro Atlanta this week...gives us 17 fortune 500 corporate HQ's that now make their home here.Exactly how many does N.O. have?
I'll hang up and listen
