I don’t know…. EMS want butchy paramedics plus they throw in a visible tattoo minimum. Similar to back of the house restaurant staff. Face tattoos and other douchy tattoos mean you will work for low pay

I think food service (particularly roles in the kitchen) attracts heavier people. And butch lesbians are usually on the heavy side.

This is a common trend and I don't understand it. But I'm not complaining.
I'd rather a couple of 350 lb powerlifting lesbians showing up to cut me out of my smashed up car and carry me back up the cliff and through the brush to the ambulance than a 120 lb cheer leader who could barely push an empty stretcher.
I could care less how many tats they have or their sexual preference. Just make sure I don't die.

I had a "butch" as my boss when I worked in restaurants back in the day. She was a pretty good boss. She wasn't a dick but wasn't toxic and emotional like a few of the female managers I had.
