i agree with the belief on a theoretical level but only as far as sex or dating is concerned
their issue is i don't think they believe that a legitimate long-term relationship is possible so the factors that should lead to that aren't considered. then they preach against marriage when their worldview is set up to frick and run, which means if you make a mistake and marry a girl in that value range, you are fricked
it's a self fulfilling prophecy to protect their major selfishness (and possibly fear). if these people just admitted they were living a selfish life, it would make it all flow much better philosophically. for some reason they hate to admit this, however
