doesn't mean he can't date younger. it kinda sounds like he might need some fun in his life.

I think I know this too, but I stayed out of any long term relationships for awhile until my kids were grown. I know I'm a better picker now. Just still have that little trepidation in the back of my brain wondering if things will change in the future.

I like younger women. Women my age (56) are all divorced, bitter man-haters.

I'm an expert at rejection. The old saying of just be yourself is total bullshite.

I really dont blame OP too much. She was lied to by the feminist movement that promised sexual freedom, a career in a man's field, and independence would lead to happiness.

She still believes there is a nice looking, successful man out there that wants an "equal partner" not a wife and that this man will help her achieve happiness.

Look at feminist leaders today...old, nasty, bitter, angry. How many old feminists do you know that are pleasant as your granny that was married for 50 years?

I have to agree that there are some women our age (I'm 57) who are bitter man-haters.

This is exactly correct. I'm reading some stuff on this now. People can change their thinking patterns. But it takes work and commitment.

The alternative is to live as a slave to your thoughts.
