State Parks are awesome. Keep supporting them. Like others said anytime you have free or cheap you will have trashy people. Keep going and setting an example on how to enjoy these parks.

Hijack.... I know you do quite a bit of outdoor photography. Do you ever take pictures of the night sky? Are there some examples on the outdoor board?

Yep, mainly northern lights...

Hijack cont'd.

My daughter took some of the night sky while we were 'yurting' in Colorado.

Struggled with some blur etc. Thought you might have some pointers...

Thanks.

tripod?

Need a remote of wifi shutter and a good steady tripod. No wind is helpful.

Manual focus, F2.8, 25-30 seconds, 1600 ISO

She's a novice. Had the tripod and the remote. Wind was there some. we later figured out that she was on the same platform as the yurt and while we were inside if anybody moved I think that lent itself to some vibrations.

Thanks.

Minibikes always reminds of this pic, which hung for years in a barbershop I went to as a kid.

It sure will. Any slight movement can mess up a long exposure shot. Even mirror movement on DSLRs.
