Why do I continue to get ads for stuff I have already ordered?

We all know they are tracking everything we do on the computers and use it for targeting ads. So my question is when I order something on Amazon why do I continue to get ads for it? Especially when it's an item you would only order once.

Nah, the algorithms are just spent and have you pegged not knowing you already purchased. Its crappy though because it certainly would be salt in the wound with buyers remorse

get a good ad/spyware blocker and clean out your cookies regularly
