Ask John Kerry and his daughter. He used his Senate influence to block epipen competitors from getting approval to hit market. Meanwhile, his daughter was CEO of the company making epipens. She raised the price from around $1 to hundreds of dollars.

that was Joe Manchin's daughter, but according to the article Kerry's daughter was also getting some benefits of her Dad's job.

They don’t cost that much if you have insurance.
And how’s the price of medical insurance coming along now a days?
A little expensive because, for one, Epipens are 800 bucks?

I mean what doesn’t go up in price as the years go by? That’s like our grandparents who are like,“Back in my day, I remember when you could buy a hamburger with fries and a coke for 75 cents.”

Epipens are cheap and work, so we cannot have that. Like Hydroxy and Ivermectin, but remdesivir that was good to go.

Same thing for my type 1 diabetic daughter, the Baqsimi sprays are like $500. Ridiculous that a waste of life drug addict making bad decisions is more important than the life of a child who hasn't had the chance to make any decisions yet.
