Its usually the little chicken shite dogs that are afraid of it. I imagine it has something to do with their sensitive hearing.

Mine also hates plain old rain. I'm trying to keep him out of the tub until it drains.

All of our labs growing up hated it including the one we have now. The dachshund couldn't care less.
