The shape of the container sends the bubbles in different orientations which greatly affects the smell which affects the taste.

Ok, hear me out…I worked at a brewery and had this argument many many times.

First off, same beer…absolutely no difference between bottled keg and can. Even growler fills are same batch of beer.

Your nose. As in the aluminum is affecting your taste buds when you put it up to your mouth and it’s that close to your nose.

Solution (or confirmation) is to buy a can top twist cutter/opener from Amazon or TikTok. Game changer. Every can beer tastes like draft now and goes down super easy.

TLDR- aluminum beer can, nose affects taste buds
