re: Why do baby boomers neglect other generations?

Look, you petulant little bitch: I make more money in a month than you do in a year, so I suggest you knock it off with your weak-arse job shtick. I'm sure your "useful" associate's degree from Louisiana Valley Technical College allowed you to get a serviceable job and put scraps on the table for your little mutts, but it clearly hasn't given you the tools necessary to understand and coherently respond to an argument that's been presented to you on a platter time and time again.
So, instead of arguing about things you don't understand, why don't you go adjust the cinder blocks your house sits on and stop wasting your time on the iPhone you probably don't even know how to use?

Meme? whats a meme? I've answered a few about SS & Medicare. The national debt isn't a generational thing you twit. The national debt is so large mainly from defense spending. What is so hard to understand? This economic greed you apparently hate provides jobs for people to make a living. If you hate it so much, please, throw away your iPhone that you use as a pacifier. Stop driving your car that your parents provide for you. Smash the computer you use with a sledgehammer if you know who to use one. The 'greed' of America has provided you the freedom get educated, provide jobs to support yourself (job...google it), etc. If you don't like living in America, you can always leave. I promise you, you won't be missed.
This is absolutely ridiculous and you need to GTFO with this shite. I've worked since I was a teenager, paying into Social Security and Medicare. My first job was bagging groceries and I walked there each way to save up and buy my first car. I've never been handed a car and have always paid my own insurance, gas, maintenance, etc. A smartphone? I wish I didn't have to own one but every employer these days (boomers) expects people to be available 24/7. I've also listened to older generations tell me that the world has changed, and not for the better. What generation decided to make a profit out of everything ( public education, student debt, PRISONS?!?!)?? Boomers. What generation decided to take advantage of pensions then abolish them for future generations? Boomers. As for leaving America, that's not going to fricking happen. I love this country and will do everything I can do fix it once these boomers die. I promise, they won't be missed.

Would you like to wager that amount in a bet? I'd be more than happy to show you my W2 if you are man enough to put your money where you mouth is. Sounds like I struck a nerve again. Once again, insult the person that make the comment instead of trying to debate the subject. I'll give you a dose of reality. Listen well little one. I know you don't have any social skills. I know you can name all the characters in Star Wars AND Star Trek. I know you have watched The Matrix countless times. Go to the Tech Board where you fit in.

I love the "show your W2" challenges.

Are you really this dumb? Part of the reason the US was successful post-WWII is because the war was fought everywhere but American soil. Aside from Pearl Harbor, the US infrastructure sustained virtually no damage, whereas Japan and Europe were in ruins.

The Marshall Plan (officially the European Recovery Program, ERP) was an American initiative to aid Western Europe, in which the United States gave $13 billion (approximately $130 billion in current dollar value as of August 2015) in economic support to help rebuild Western European economies after the end of World War II.

The United States provided similar aid programs in Asia, but they were not called "Marshall Plan".
All of this after a World War.
Who do think paid for this?

If you're (a) dumb enough to post your actual W-2 with personally identifiable information and (b) dumb enough to not realize that such forms are easily Photoshop-able (seriously, Google image search "rich W-2"), then you might be a shitboomer.

Amazing. You are literally too stupid to insult.
ETA: ignore the above and please post your W-2. I could use a good laugh.

Wow! You mean to say the Boomers gave Europe $130 billion in 2015 dollars out of the kindness of their hearts?
That totally makes up for the more than $2 trillion they've spent taking us to war in Iraq!!!

Nobody is right here, and nobody is wrong. Yes, the Boomers were selfish and messed some stuff up. But they also presided over the greatest expansion of wealth and economic growth in American history (with a little hiccup in the Carter administration).
There is nothing special about the people who make up either generation. Had today's young people been born in 1955, they would have done the same things their parents and grandparents did, because everything a society does is a reflection of reality as it exists at the time. People will always act in their own self interest.

More Millennials Managing Gen X-ers, Baby Boomers
You're just adding credence to the notion that Millenials are idiots, man. First, that's a survey you linked to. Second, not a well done survey. Third, based on two websites and traffic you would expect to be heavy on Millenial use etc.
You should read some of the things Mark Twain said, although I suppose you think he was out of touch with reality.

I would like to know where the baby boomers went wrong. They say that the new generations are spoiled but I disagree.
We spoiled our kids instead of letting them grow up.

I have never seen a group of people bitch more about and blame another generation than millennials.
Literally worse than Al Sharpton and feminazis. If I had a gun to my head and they said you have to listen to Al Sharpton drone on about the white man and a feminist talk about the patriarchal society and its ills or a millennial talk about anything, I would get a bowl of ice cream and invite Al and the hairy legged shebeast to have some with me before I listened to the word of a millennial.
