That is not exactly all there is to it. Forward personnel has to launch the drone and fly it for the first of its mission. They then transfer control for the mission, and then the control is transferred back for wrapping it up and retrieval. I read an in depth article about it the other day that was, of course, more technical than what I just wrote. There are many more moving parts than most people think.
