Clearly SHE thought it was. As does 95% of this board. Thats sufficient enough to not pass muster for a good, married woman.

You dont seem to be considering this fact.

In your mind, asking a woman you know to coffee isnt a date. So think about how frickin creepy the OP would have to be to give off that vibe!

Or maybe she didn't really care either and was just trying to be polite

Or maybe her husband is a pathetic frick like you and doesn't trust his wife

95% of this board is pathetic sloppy middle aged men that's first wife at least left them

Or maybe OP is FOS and got shutdown from a past acquaintance he randomly passed crosses with and decides to start a topic on TD to shade the blame and insecurity to a husband - that may or may not exist - instead of just sucking it up and understanding she only wanted to say "Hi! you creepy MFR. Hope your fam is well."

He just relayed her message, you all are the ones that told us what she was actually thinking despite not being there.

I said about a half dozen time that may be true. That doesn't change the fact there were 2 dozen limp wristed "men" were in here saying that if a man and woman go somewhere it's a date and want to frick.

So I told him, in the afternoon I get coffee with Ms. Lesbian-Librarian - so what’s the difference?

she’s invited to the house, he isn’t.

The good ole double standard, then? Lesbian-Librarian was not at all interested in a man- so my husband wouldn’t have had a chance - so husband would have to watch her and I - but that’s cheating - which is what he was afraid of in the first place, right?

I had no attraction towards Mr Librarian or Ms. Lesbo-Librarian - no chance of cheating with either.

ETA: so in other words it’s ok for the husband to cheat but not the wife - ok

I'm glad he relayed the message "Why are you husbands so insecure about your wives?" when the husband had no part in this encounter (to our knowledge). I know you are who you are, but everything about the OP is suspect.

I don't think that actually happened. There are a few that said "take my wife, please" and others that said "we have a trust factor and it's cool".

His whole insecurity thing crying here on TD and shifting blame because he got shutdown is a full beta angle for a board full of supposed alphas. Good job on you for taking up for him. Honestly, it's enjoyable.

Yup

And they’ve already assumed:

It’s not because her husband is super jealous and controlling and untrusting of her.

There are plenty of husbands that are super jealous and controlling. Of course no one on the OT.

Lol - I don’t like to agree with you, Mingo

But on this one I do. Not every single encounter with the opposite sex means anything sexually.

Yeah, it doesn't. But...

Asking a person that recognized you and gave you a "Hi! hug, it's been so long, how's your fam?" from their thoughts.

... Turns into OP coffee, lunch, dinner, freezer? There's a reason she said NO and it's not her husband as the OP pretenses. (my take)

I do get there are insecure men and women, but that generalization doesn't fit the OP. He was blaming a husband - literally his topic.

You’ve got to have autism and are incapable of picking up social nuances because that’s not at all what was said.

None of it happened

But it’s still a prime example of a great OT thread

Some women have zero ability to differentiate between right and wrong. They want to frick the hot guy with no negative repercussions.

One can probably tell if their bride to be is a whore before the nuptials.

But not all.
